EARLY EDUCATION
Reading and Literacy Are
at the Top of Our List
-
Prodigy children are exposed at all ages to the excitement of books and the wonder of reading.
-
Reading practice and visits to Prodigy’s ever-expanding library are encouraged every day.
-
Children are urged to borrow books from the Prodigy library and bring them home to share with their family.
-
Pre-K through 5th Grade children use their writing and drawing skills, learned at Prodigy, to write and illustrate books which are then added to reading materials for other kids to see and enjoy.
SUMMER PROGRAMS
Because Child Development
Never Takes a Vacation
-
Prodigy Learning Center’s summer program runs from the second week in June through the last week of August.
-
Normal hours are from 8am to 6pm. Optionally, at additional cost, children may be dropped off as early as 6am and stay as late as 7pm.
-
Over the summer, kids lose as much as 20% of the knowledge learned during the previous school year. Prodigy summer activities include a weekly educational review designed to overcome this trend.
-
Prodigy summer programs include outdoor activity on-site at Prodigy Playland, refreshing outdoor water-play activities as well as music, art, yoga and physical education classes.
-
Weekly, monitored field trips to fun destinations like Dutch Wonderland, the Camden Aquarium, Johnson’s Farm and Philadelphia’s many other attractions are scheduled throughout the summer. Summer field trips also include skating, bowling and other exciting activities.
